Profile

Supercrane was formed in 1986 bringing together specialist expertise in crane design and construction. Based in Kewdale, Western Australia, Supercrane has completed over 1000 jobs for clients in the oil & gas, mining, construction, shipbuilding, defence and engineering industries as well as many clients in various light industries and in domestic situations.

The quality of Supercrane products is reflected by the fact that you will find Supercrane installations throughout the world including Australia, Africa, China, Indonesia and Mongolia.

Our expert sales and service personnel are always available, so please contact us to discuss your lifting requirements.

Design Engineering

Our team of design engineers and drafts people uses the latest computer software packages such as AutoCAD Spacegass and Solidworks to generate advanced 3D modelling in order to see how the equipment will look and behave in service.

All cranes and winches are designed to Australian standards and once a complete analysis has been completed, calculations then sent for third part verification.

Supercrane’s office has high speed broadband internet connection that allows electric transfer of drawings and 3D models, along with all documents to be sent online and around the world.

Machining

Supercrane skilled staff with many years experience machine all parts in house which allows us to reduce the lead time and ensure that project are completed on time.

Supercrane have the capabilities to produce precision machined components and close tolerance parts, some of the machinery capabilities include gear cutting, crane wheels and axels, bearing housings, sheaves and winches drum grooving.

Fabrication

Supercranes Fabrication work is to the highest standard by skilled/approved boilermakers, fabricators and mechanical filters. All our fabrication work goes through either a 100% visual examination by in house welding supervisor or non-destructive testing by a NATA approved inspector. Material certificates/trace ability and non-destructive testing records are recorded through document control and delivered to the client.

Main in house Fabrication capabilities:

  • Crane fabrication
  • Winch fabrication and shuttle winch
  • Hoist and trolley fabrication
  • Platforms, ladders and staircases
  • Handrails
  • Runway design and fabrication
  • Goods lift fabrication
  • Lifting beams/spreader beams
  • Guards and protection devices

During the contract duration, Supercrane creates and maintains a document control register that tracks all revisions and transmittals of all the documents needed for successful contract completion.
